Jakarta, May 12 -- Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka praised the Jakarta MRT Phase 2A project on Tuesday, saying the railway expansion has employed about 3,800 construction workers.

"Thank you to the MRT management and construction workers for working day and night so the project stays on schedule," Gibran said during a visit to the Harmoni-Sawah Besar section in Jakarta.

Gibran toured the underground tunnel section alongside Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi and MRT Jakarta President Director Tuhiyat.
