Jakarta, June 25 -- The Minister of National Development Planning, Rachmat Pambudy, stated that Indonesia has made considerable progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) compared to many other countries.

"Indonesia's SDG achievement is relatively strong. While the global average remains below 20 percent, Indonesia has surpassed 60 percent. We must strengthen the role of SDGs Centers at universities to ensure our progress continues beyond this level," he said at the SDGs Center Conference 2026 in Jakarta on Thursday.

According to him, Indonesia's SDGs are considered a key development milestone for achieving Golden Indonesia 2045.
