Jakarta, May 14 -- Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir stated that the 2026 President's Cup, involving 64 Indonesian League 4 clubs from 38 provinces, demonstrates that football can serve as a national unifying force through grassroots development.

"This year's President's Cup is proof that football can become a unifying tool and must be built from the grassroots level," he stated here on Thursday while commenting on the results of the prestigious tournament's draw.
