Jakarta, Feb. 27 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto joined United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), along with rulers of six other emirates, during a series of diplomatic engagements at Qasr Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, contacted by ANTARA from Jakarta on Friday, noted that President Prabowo was accorded the honor of being seated among the seven Emirati leaders at the palace on Thursday (Feb. 26), a gathering that typically occurs only once a year.

The rulers present included President MBZ as Emir of Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as Emir of Dubai, and the emirs of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
