Jakarta, Sept. 3 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has underscored Russia's role as a vital partner, reaffirming Jakarta's commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation across various sectors.

The president highlighted this during a luncheon hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Russia, on Thursday.

"For Indonesia, Russia is a vital partner. We are proud and delighted to see our relations grow stronger," Prabowo said at the event, which was broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel.
