Jakarta, June 15 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier held a one-on-one meeting at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday.

Following an official welcoming ceremony, the two leaders entered the palace, where President Steinmeier signed the guest book, accompanied by President Prabowo.

The two then shook hands and posed for an official photograph.

Afterward, President Prabowo and President Steinmeier held a private, one-on-one meeting in the Indonesian president's office.

The meeting is expected to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Indonesia and Germany across various sectors.
