Indonesia's PLN says coal supply improving, Java power system recovers
Jakarta, June 22 -- Indonesia's state electricity company PLN said coal supplies meeting the specifications required by its coal-fired power plants are being distributed smoothly.
"The supply of primary energy (coal) that meets the specifications required by our power plants is running smoothly," PLN CEO Darmawan Prasodjo said in a statement on Monday.
He said efforts to restore and strengthen the electricity system on Java are progressing smoothly and showing gradual improvement.
Going forward, PLN will improve coal supply chain management and strengthen generating facilities to ensure the reliability of the Java electricity system.
