Jakarta, April 21 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that Indonesia's accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will proceed to the technical review stage in July 2026.

He noted that the process is part of Indonesia's efforts to strengthen trade relations and global investment amid global economic uncertainties.

"We have already submitted the initial memorandum, so the technical review will take place in July," he told the press after a national seminar on Indonesia's OECD accession and its implications for businesses in Jakarta on Tuesday.
