Indonesia's economy grows 5.29 percent despite global uncertainty
Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Indonesia's economic performance continues to outpace global trends despite persistent geopolitical tension and technological disruption, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated.
Speaking at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, Airlangga emphasized that the nation's 5.29 percent year-on-year growth in the second quarter of 2026 highlights strong structural resilience against external risks, including ongoing trade friction and geopolitical conflicts involving the US, Iran, Russia and Ukraine.
