Indonesia's BGN sets strict standards for Free Meal program kitchens
Magetan, East Java, June 1 -- The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) reminded managers of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPGs) to comply with operational standards that must be met in implementing the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program in the regions.
BGN Deputy Head for Public Communication and Investigation Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, said here on Monday that there are a number of requirements that SPPGs must comply with to avoid having their operations suspended.
"A suspension is imposed on an SPPG if there is an extraordinary event (KLB), commonly known as food poisoning incidents, as well as in non-KLB cases," she said.
