Jakarta, May 5 -- Indonesia's National Alms Agency (Baznas) has launched four emergency school tents in central Gaza to serve up to 600 displaced children after formal education facilities were destroyed by prolonged conflict.
Baznas Chairman, Sodik Mudjahid, said the initiative in Az-Zawayda reflects Indonesia's ongoing commitment to supporting Palestine's future, aiming to restore children's access to education despite wartime disruptions.
"We believe education must not stop even during war. These tents symbolize hope so Gaza's children can continue learning," Sodik said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Monday.
