Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- Indonesia's National Alms Agency (Baznas) emphasized its commitment to expanding community empowerment and alms utilization initiatives to help alleviate extreme poverty in 88 regions nationwide.

Baznas Head for Research, Development, Planning, and Innovation Syarifuddin reassured the agency's willingness to assist regional governments during a meeting with the Polewali Mandar District administration in Jakarta.
