Jakarta, Oct. 6 -- Indonesia, through the National Alms Agency (Baznas), continues to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians affected by the war in Gaza, including 875 packages of hot, ready-to-eat meals to 3,500 displaced residents.

Baznas' Head Sodik Mudjahid said in a statement received here on Tuesday the meal distribution initiative aimed to help meeting the needs of Palestinians affected by the war amid severely limited access to food.

"The conditions in Palestine remain unsettling. In fact, people are having difficulty even meeting their basic needs, including those in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Baznas hopes this aid will help ease their burden," Mudjahid said.
