Denpasar, Bali, Sept. 15 -- Denpasar police are investigating the death of a 60-year-old Dutch man who was found at a hotel in Uluwatu, Ungasan Village, Kuta Selatan Subdistrict, Badung District, Bali, on Saturday (September 12) night.

Denpasar Police Spokesperson First Inspector I Gede Adi Saputra Jaya said here Tuesday that officers were investigating the incident, including examining surveillance camera footage from the hotel.

"Based on CCTV footage, the victim allegedly jumped over a barrier on the hotel's fifth floor at around 10:14 p.m. local time," he said.

He said the incident was first reported after a restaurant staff member was told by a hotel guest that a man was lying on a road within the hotel grounds.
