Badung, Bali, Oct. 7 -- Indonesian Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas highlighted the role of digital transformation in strengthening the creative economy as a driver of innovation, culture, and community development, beyond creating new economic opportunities.

He noted that, over the past two decades, advances in digital technology have transformed how creative works are produced, distributed, and enjoyed by the public.

"Digital platforms, streaming services, and emerging technologies have given creators broader reach to connect with audiences worldwide," Supratman said during the Global Dialogue on Cross-Border Copyright Royalty Governance in the Digital Era in Badung District, Bali, on Wednesday.
