Indonesia promotes World Mangrove Center at ASEAN forestry forum
Jakarta, July 30 -- Indonesia is promoting the development of the World Mangrove Center (WMC) as a global collaboration platform for mangrove conservation at the 21st ASEAN Working Group on Forest Management (AWG-FM) in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Head of the Bureau of Public Relations and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Forestry Ristianto Pribadi said on Thursday the initiative reflects Indonesia's commitment to strengthening regional and global cooperation on sustainable mangrove management.
