Indonesia promotes innovative conservation financing in London
Jakarta, June 26 -- Indonesia is developing inclusive and sustainable financing models for natural conservation as it seeks to reduce reliance on public funds and attract high-integrity investment, Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni said on Thursday.
Speaking at the Peusangan Elephant Conservation Initiative Roundtable during London Climate Action Week 2026, Antoni said Indonesia is reshaping conservation governance to better integrate environmental protection and financing.
"Indonesia is not just devising financing strategies. We are shaping a new paradigm for conservation administration," Antoni said, according to a statement released in Jakarta on Friday.
