Jakarta, Sept. 10 -- The Indonesian Foreign Ministry is preparing several scenarios for President Prabowo Subianto's possible attendance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York later this month.

"We are preparing various scenarios, while preparations on substance are continuing and being further refined," Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela said at the ministry's office in Jakarta on Thursday.

Nabyl said the government was continuing to refine preparations for the substance Indonesia would present at the annual forum.

"We are also conducting various rehearsals to prepare the substance," he added.

Nabyl, however, declined to confirm whether Prabowo would attend this year's General Assembly.
