Indonesia prepares delegation for global labor talks
Jakarta, May 28 -- Indonesia is preparing a tripartite delegation ahead of the 114th International Labor Conference in Geneva in June, seeking a coordinated position on labor issues ranging from digital work to global standards.
A Manpower Ministry official, Indah Anggoro Putri, said preparations offer an opportunity to align positions among government, labor unions and employers before the meeting.
"Indonesia's participation in the 114th ILC carries broader strategic importance than merely fulfilling an international invitation," Putri said in a statement on Thursday.
