Jakarta, May 10 -- The Indonesian government is preparing a revision of Minister of Trade Regulation Number 31 of 2023 to improve the e-commerce and online marketplace ecosystem.
The move follows recent complaints from small sellers regarding high administrative and logistics fees charged by platforms.
"We are currently preparing a revision to the Trade Minister Regulation regarding the e-commerce ecosystem. However, I cannot disclose the details yet as it is still under discussion," Trade Minister Budi Santoso told the press in Jakarta on Sunday.
