Indonesia optimistic ties with Singapore will bolster ASEAN resilience
Jakarta, Aug. 20 -- Indonesian Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Perkasa Roeslani expressed optimism that the strategic partnership between Indonesia and Singapore will strengthen the long-term competitiveness and resilience of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Speaking at the Singapore National Day Reception in Jakarta on Wednesday (August 19), Roeslani emphasized that Singapore is more than just a neighboring country, describing the two nations as "kindred brethren" that share deep geographical, historical, and cultural ties.
