Tanjungpinang, May 15 -- Indonesian Marine Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono inaugurated a fish processing factory in Bintan District, Riau Islands Province, on Thursday (May 14) to help the region harness its resources for economic growth.

He implied that the fish plant aligns with the Red and White Fishing Villages (KNMP) program introduced by President Prabowo Subianto as a priority initiative to empower the national fishery sector from its upstream to downstream.
