Jakarta, Aug. 10 -- The Indonesian Archery Association (PB Perpani) has raised its medal target for the upcoming Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, aiming to secure at least a silver medal after naming a 10-athlete roster for Japan.

"We want to get a silver. A silver means we have competed in the final," said PB Perpani Secretary General Irawadi Hanafi in Jakarta on Monday, highlighting the team's ambition to improve on its two bronze medals from the Hangzhou edition.

The squad comprises four male and six female archers competing across the recurve and compound categories, combining seasoned veterans with promising debutants currently training in Jakarta.
