Indonesia moves to finalize regulation for village cooperatives
Jakarta, June 13 -- The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) confirmed ongoing efforts to finalize a presidential regulation (Perpres) governing cooperatives under the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) program.
KSP Chief Dudung Abdurrahman inspected preparations for a KDMP in Arjowirangun Village, Malang City, East Java, on Friday (June 12), noting that the cooperative has been well equipped for business and now awaits the Perpres to fully operate.
"I will report to President (Prabowo Subianto) as soon as possible so that the presidential regulation can be issued promptly," he said in a statement cited in Jakarta on Saturday.
