Indonesia MotoGP delivers US$278 million economic boost: official
Jakarta, June 20 -- Indonesia MotoGP in Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara, generated an economic impact of Rp4.96 trillion (around US$278 million) in 2025, according to Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs.
The ministry's secretary Susiwijono Moegiarso said the figure was driven by increased tourist arrivals, activity in the transportation and accommodation sectors, trade, and various business activities involving local communities and enterprises.
The achievement shows that Indonesia MotoGP has made a significant contribution to the national economy while strengthening the country's position as a host of international events.
