Indonesia monitors non-tariff barriers on plantation, forestry goods
Jakarta, Oct. 6 -- The Indonesian government continues the monitoring of various challenges or non-tariff barriers facing Indonesian plantation and forestry commodities, as informed by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.
"In terms of plantations and forestry, we see that Europe's non-tariff barriers are also in place, which they call the EUDR (European Union Regulation on Deforestation). The EUDR has been postponed until next year, so international pressure is also delaying its implementation," Hartarto noted on Tuesday.
