Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the government will keep the price of subsidized Pertalite gasoline unchanged through December despite elevated global crude oil prices.

"Pertalite prices are guaranteed to remain unchanged through December. The funding has already been built into our fiscal buffer," Airlangga told reporters in Jakarta on Wednesday.

President Prabowo Subianto has instructed the government not to raise subsidized fuel prices despite continued volatility in global crude oil markets, Airlangga said.
