Indonesia leverages growing appeal with new investment hub plan
Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- The government is advancing plans to establish the Indonesia Financial and Investment Center (IIFC) to capitalize on the country's growing appeal as a global investment destination, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi said.
Speaking to reporters at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Saturday, he said Indonesia is widely recognized as a "high-potential" investment destination with "significant room for growth."
He added that the country is well-positioned to attract capital from various nations, emphasizing the significance of establishing the IIFC as a supporting mechanism to capitalize on these advantages and opportunities.
