Indonesia launches digital travel pack to boost tourism, MSMEs
Jakarta, Sept. 26 -- Bank Indonesia launched the Indonesia Travel Pack 2026 on Saturday, a digital platform enabling foreign tourists to plan trips, process payments, and connect directly with local small businesses before arriving.
Unveiled during the joint Indonesian Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI) and Indonesia Fintech Summit Expo (IFSE) 2026, the updated framework introduces a pre-departure digital e-book allowing travelers to explore and scan itinerary locations from abroad.
Bank Indonesia Senior Deputy Governor Aida S. Budiman said the initiative connects connectivity access, verified destination itineraries, and digital payment processing into a single platform.
