Jakarta, Aug. 10 -- The Ministry of Forestry launched a national movement encouraging simultaneous efforts to restore natural ecosystems across Indonesia, aligning with President Prabowo Subianto's directive on environmental sustainability.

Director General of Natural Resource and Ecosystem Conservation Satyawan Pudyatmoko said the nationwide campaign's kick-off marked the culmination of activities commemorating the 2026 National Nature Conservation Day (HKAN).

Speaking at Angke Nature Tourism Park in Jakarta on Monday, he explained that the Forestry Ministry intends to mobilize 74 regional technical service units across the country to carry out the movement.
