Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- Indonesia has formally joined the Global Coalition for Children's Rights and Protection in the Age of AI, reinforcing its international commitment to safeguarding young people against digital harms posed by rapidly evolving artificial intelligence.

Speaking at a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday (October 7), Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid announced Indonesia's participation following high-level discussions held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
