Makassar, Aug. 11 -- Indonesia, represented by Hasanuddin University (Unhas), took part in the 6th University Presidents for Peace Conference hosted by Hiroshima University (HU) at its Higashi-Senda Campus in Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 2026, which focused on peacebuilding and youth development.

The forum brought together 53 participants from 17 universities in 11 countries and regions to strengthen the role of higher education institutions in promoting peace and sustainability.
