Indonesia issues 1,274 Golden Visas since 2024
Jakarta, May 21 -- Indonesian immigration has issued 1,274 Golden Visas as of May 18, generating Rp52.1 trillion (US$2.95 billion) in investment realization.
Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko said the figure had exceeded the target of issuing 1,000 Golden Visas since the program was launched in July 2024.
"Besides showing growing global confidence in Indonesia, this policy has delivered tangible benefits to the national economy," he said at a Golden Visa outreach event in Jakarta on Thursday.
He said most Golden Visas were issued to foreign nationals and members of the Indonesian diaspora from the United States, followed by China, Taiwan, Australia, Russia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Japan, and South Korea....
