Jakarta, Sept. 3 -- President Prabowo Subianto invited Russian companies to invest in and develop 138 energy exploration blocks newly opened in Indonesia.

"We invited Russian groups and companies, along with their technology, to take part in these 138 blocks," Prabowo said during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Russia, on Thursday.

He noted that Indonesia is currently exploring cooperation with Russian groups to develop joint energy projects, including refineries and storage terminals.
