Jakarta, April 2 -- The Indonesian Defence Forces (TNI) confirmed that three officers who were killed on duty with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) will get posthumous promotions, and their families will receive of more than Rp1.8 billion in compensation.
"The three fallen personnel will receive extraordinary posthumous non-combat promotion and the Dag Hammarksjold Medal," TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto stated in his press remarks on Wednesday.
The three Indonesian officers were Captain Zulmi Aditya Iskandar, 33; First Sergeant Muhammad Nur Ichwan, 25; and Private First Class Fahrizal Rhomadhon, 27.
