Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Indonesia has a strong foundation to develop a real-world asset (RWA) tokenization ecosystem, supported by high internet penetration and a growing digital economy, National Development Planning Minister Rachmat Pambudy said on Wednesday.

Speaking at the Forum for Discussion and Solution: Real World Asset (RWA) Tokenization for Digital Economy Acceleration and Digital Transformation , Pambudy said RWA tokenization could become an important financing innovation to accelerate digital transformation.

"High internet penetration, a rapidly growing digital economy, and increasing adoption of digital financial services provide the foundation for technology-based financing innovation," he said in a statement issued in Jakarta....
