Jakarta, Sept. 19 -- Indonesia's National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol handed over Ethiopian national Selman Mohammed Yimer, an Interpol Red Notice fugitive, to NCB Addis Ababa, Indonesian police said.

Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, head of the Indonesian police's International Relations Division, said Selman was a high-profile fugitive sought by NCB Addis Ababa under Interpol's Infra Africa 2.0 Harare operation.

"IRN (Interpol Red Notice) subject committed large-scale fraud in Ethiopia, victimizing many people," Untung said in a statement received in Jakarta on Friday.
