Jakarta, March 22 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that government programs, such as transport discounts, remote work arrangements, and social assistance, are expected to stimulate national economic activity during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Speaking at an Eid al-Fitr open house event at his residence in Jakarta on Saturday, he expressed hope that those programs would boost people's mobility and consumption, thereby impacting economic growth.

"We hope that with this momentum, we can achieve 5.5 percent economic growth in the first quarter," he said.
