Jakarta, April 15 -- Indonesia's Communication and Digital Affairs Ministry has given the Wikimedia Foundation a final seven-day deadline to register as an electronic system provider (PSE) under Indonesian law.

"The ministry reiterates its commitment to enforcing orderly and fair digital governance for all electronic system operators," Director General of Digital Space Supervision Alexander Sabar said on Wednesday.

He warned that failure to comply within the deadline would result in a full block on all Wikimedia Foundation websites, including Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.
