Jakarta, Aug. 13 -- President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the ongoing development of a vast industrial estate supporting Indonesia's electric vehicle industry in West Java, with mass production projected to begin no later than 2028.

During the launch of the National Electric Motorcycle (Molinas) in Bekasi on Thursday, he noted that "a large complex is being developed" in an area near Purwakarta and Subang as part of Indonesia's broader agenda to advance technology and cut reliance on imported energy.
