Jakarta, April 29 -- Indonesia's Creative Economy Ministry is exploring collaboration with Meta to expand global market access for local creators, aiming to raise competitiveness and visibility of domestic talent internationally.
Deputy Minister Irene Umar said partnerships with major platforms can help Indonesian creative works reach wider global audiences, according to a statement on Wednesday.
She said while expanding globally, local creators must remain relevant and accessible to domestic audiences, maintaining strong engagement at home.
Irene said the government acts not only as regulator but also as a bridge, aligning stakeholders to ensure the creative ecosystem develops in a coordinated and sustainable way.
