Indonesia expands SMIs to spur growth in transmigration areas
Jakarta, July 30 -- The Ministry of Industry is strengthening efforts to develop small and medium industries (SMIs) in transmigration areas by establishing new industrial entrepreneurs based on regional potential.
Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said in a statement released in Jakarta on Thursday that developing new industrial entrepreneurs is a key strategy to create inclusive economic growth and improve public welfare, especially in transmigration regions.
