Jakarta, May 27 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Human Rights said human rights compliance assessments for government agencies are aimed at improving inclusive public services and strengthening protection for vulnerable groups.

The ministry's Director General of Human Rights Service and Compliance, Munafrizal Manan, said the policy seeks to ensure public services are based not only on administration but also on respect for human rights.

"The goal is not merely annual report figures, but better public services directly felt by communities, especially vulnerable groups such as persons with disabilities, women and children," Manan said in a statement on Wednesday.
