Jakarta, June 25 -- The National Food Agency (Bapanas) has distributed 1.02 million tons of government rice reserves as of the third week of June 2026, as part of an ongoing effort to stabilize market supplies and prices.

"As of June 23, Bapanas records show that the total distribution of government rice reserves to the public for the 2026 budget year has reached 1.02 million tons," Bapanas Head Andi Amran Sulaiman said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
