Jakarta, Feb. 21 -- Indonesia promoted the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for public interest and social development at the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
During a panel discussion at the summit, Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria said the global impact of AI currently stands at "six out of ten."
"Digital transformation should not stop at infrastructure provision. What is needed is meaningful access, so that technology truly becomes a solution for people's lives," he said in an official statement received here on Saturday.
He noted that AI advancements must be accompanied by efforts to ensure their benefits are felt more evenly, particularly in developing countries.
