Indonesia beat Kazakhstan 4-3 in Asian Games hockey qualifiers
Jakarta, April 6 -- The Indonesian national field hockey team defeated Kazakhstan 4-3 in a Group A match of the 2026 Asian Games qualifiers at the Royal Thai Air Force Hockey Field in Bangkok, Thailand, on Sunday.
The victory lifted the Red and White Team's motivation after a 1-4 defeat to Oman on the second matchday on Friday (April 3).
Earlier, Indonesia secured its first win with a 4-3 victory over Hong Kong in its opening Pool A match on Thursday (April 2).
In the match against Kazakhstan, Indonesia played aggressively from the start, with Ahdan Asasi opening the scoring in the sixth minute.
