Indonesia backs UK ban on imports from illegal Israeli settlements
Jakarta, Sept. 10 -- Indonesia and seven other nations have voiced their support for the United Kingdom's decision to officially ban the import of goods and restrict services linked to illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a statement issued by the Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry here on Thursday, the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed hope that the action would be emulated by the broader international community.
