Jakarta, March 7 -- The Indonesian government has requested that the World Trade Organization's Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) suspend concessions and other obligations to the European Union (EU) following the EU's failure to fulfill its obligations regarding palm oil.

Trade Minister Budi Santoso said in Jakarta on Saturday that the measure was taken after the EU failed to meet deadlines to adjust its policies or fully comply with the WTO panel's rulings and recommendations in the palm oil dispute (DS593).
