Bekasi, West Java, March 9 -- Indonesian Housing and Settlement Areas Minister Maruarar Sirait announced that his ministry and the Public Housing Savings Agency (BP Tapera) have decided to extend the maximum installment tenor for subsidized housing to 30 years.
"Following President Prabowo Subianto's directive to prioritize people-oriented policies, we decided to extend the tenor from 20 years to 30 years," Sirait said in Bekasi District, West Java, on Sunday (March 8).
He explained that the policy is intended to make subsidized housing more affordable while supporting the government's efforts to accelerate the implementation of the three million homes program.
