Indonesia and South Korea bolster navy ties in Busan
Jakarta, June 5 -- The Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) is working to strengthen bilateral ties with the Republic of Korean Navy (ROKN) of South Korea during the 2026 Diplomatic Voyage Visit and Kartika Jala Krida (KJK) cadet training program.
The bilateral ties were strengthened when Indonesian Navy Fleet Commander, Vice Admiral Denih Hendrata, met with Deputy Commander of the Republic of Korea Fleet (ROK Fleet), Rear Admiral Lee Namgyu, aboard the KRI Bima Suci, which was docked at Busan Naval Base in South Korea on Wednesday (June 3), according to a press statement of Indonesian Fleet Command received in Jakarta on Thursday (June 4).
